Construction Projects in Nasir

I arrived here in Nasir one week ago after 5 long flights that brought me from my home and family in Nebraska to my mud hut in Sudan. I am glad to be back here with my friends and the Bible School students. The Aid Sudan compound is very busy as we are rebuilding the mud hut kitchen and Bible School. This isn't an easy process as big sticks are dug into the ground and mud is packed onto them to form the walls. Then we build a basic frame for the roof, also of long pieces of unfinished wood. These are tied together and the grass thatched roof will go on top of them this week when the grass dries from the recent rain.

Buay is also busy at work supervising the construction of the clinic and school in the nearby village of Kierwan.

As soon as this is completed, the Nasir Bible School will start learning more stories from God's Word. I am glad to be back in Nasir.

Please pray for God to hold back the rain until we can get the construction projects done at the compound and in Kierwan.
