Nasir Mission Team Visits Village to Village Site

After being in Sudan almost a week, the team is enjoying their relationship with the new commissioner and excited about the future possibilities for this village and the surrounding areas. Everyone is healthy and experiencing life in Nasir – mud-hut living, a beautiful night sky, the gracious people and a diet of rice and beans.

On Sunday, the team traveled to Torpout to view the completed Village to Village project, which included a medical clinic, water well, and a school. During their stay, they visited with Buay’s (a Sudanese friend from Houston) family and spent an awesome afternoon of fellowship.

Monday, the team spent time in Nasir to tour the hospital and help the Bible School students learn their final stories. The team asked for prayers for the pastors in the Bible School – that they would catch the vision for starting new storying groups in and around Nasir.
