November 2008 Trip
Nasir, Sudan

Dates: Saturday, November 1st – Monday, November 17th
Cost: $4400

Description: Nasir is located along the Sobat River and is just 16 miles from the Ethiopian border. Home to the Nuer tribe, the second largest tribe in southern Sudan, Nasir contains remnants of buildings from missionaries and others who settled there over 50 years ago. This trip is primarily focused on education, but non-teachers are most welcome. The team will train teachers and pastors and seek to impact other needs. As with other trips, all team members will minister through Chronological Bible Storying. Team members will stay in mud huts, bathe out of a basin, eat food cooked over a fire, and in every way live a very basic lifestyle. All team members will receive full training on living and ministering in southern Sudan.
