PREVIOUS TRIPS
Since Aid Sudan’s inception in 2000, we have taken around 12 trips to southern Sudan and the number grows each year. Visited locations have included Aweil, Lohutok, Bor, Mvolo, Nasir, Juba, Kulu and the Kakuma refugee camp, among others. Aid Sudan’s goal is to have a growing relationship with each and every one of our targeted locations, thus most locations have been visited multiple times. Each mission team focuses on community development tailored specifically to the need of the area and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Hear what former mission team members have to say about their experience on an Aid Sudan mission team:
"Something that will probably be forever imprinted in my mind from our trip to Sudan was the first day of water well repairs. When we were in great need of help with carrying the pipes, and no one was willing, God gave us about 20 kids to do the job. The sight of them running to our compound was such a relief and encouragement for the four of us contemplating an impossible task." - Bonnie Przybyszewski, July 2007
"Sudan is an interesting place. I went there because Jesus called me there, and because I wanted some adventure. Adventure I got. I have never been more challenged and never been to a more physically difficult place in my life. I had to face myself in ways that I never anticipated. While in Sudan it was difficult for me to discern what had just happened to me. Since being out of Sudan I can't quite tell you what it is exactly that Jesus did to me but He changed me, and He changed the way that I walk with Him." - Daniel Morris, July 2006
